9 Section III girls tennis players from 3 teams qualify for next week’s state tournament

The Baldwinsville and Fayetteville-Manlius girls tennis squads are sending a combined eight individual players to the New York state tournament following impressive performances at Thursday’s Section III state qualifier.
Mira Nadzan finished as the runner-up in the singles bracket for the Bees. Ayla Kalfass in singles (6-1, 6-2), and the doubles duo of Lainey Nesbitt and Sonia Nadzan (6-4, 6-1) each won their respective third-place matches to clinch a spot at states for Baldwinsville.
